Years after leaving the island where I spent most of my teenage years, I realize the world “bubble” as the perfect metaphor to describe it, since my consciousness began to sprout while I was away from my family and all my memories here.

The transitions between different cities and cultures burst the bubble in an instant. When the place gave me the freedom to build my perspective and explore passions that could diverge from the mainstream, it also concealed a part of reality — the awareness of the fundamental nature of society and the unconscious self.

Until one day I returned home after settling down in another city, in that moment, I saw so much of this town reflected in myself, its tranquility, simplicity and innocence.
