Synopsis

A girl returns to China to retrieve the money borrowed from her family. What begins as the quest for financial restitution transforms into a journey of reconciliation between mother and daughter.

Director’s Notes

I’ve been working on the script of Mobius in an endless cycle. What I am curious about is the chemistry that might happen if putting möbius' principle into the image of relationships within a Chinese immigrant family —— in the eternal cycle of the ambivalent sentiments, the deep connection formed transcends different levels of education, values, and perspectives on life between the two generations.
